Heidi K. Heinlein


Heidi Heinlein is the founder of The Art of Giving, a nonprofit organization that helps donors increase the impact of their giving. Ms. Heinlein assists individuals, families, foundations and corporations in creating and implementing strategic giving programs that meet and often exceed their philanthropic visions.

Ms. Heinlein has more than 20 years of experience in charitable giving and nonprofit management. Her experiences in promoting philanthropy include serving as Manager for the Catalogue for Philanthropy, Director of Charitable Programs for Citizens Energy and managing the Harvard Award for Excellence in Children’s Health. She started her career at the American Red Cross where she created a nationally acclaimed HIV/AIDS program and became a spokesperson for the National American Red Cross.

Ms. Heinlein has authored several published articles and been featured on numerous television and radio shows. She received her Masters in Public Health from Boston University.

Heidi and her husband David, live in Dover Massachusetts.  They have four adult children.
